Given that face masks are now an essential item to wear in public during the current global pandemic crisis, we have seen a meteoric rise in discarded single-use face masks all around the world.
At Baliza, we believe that we should not let such precautionary measures outweigh our mission to make the world a more eco-conscious place. As such, we have worked hard over the last couple of months to come up with sustainable-style alternatives to the face mask wearing culture that will remain for some time to come. Our face masks are made from fabric scraps fom our next collection (JADE). They prioritize breathability and comfort, without compromising on important considerations such as the materials from which they are made from, as well as production methods. We have made sure that our masks continue to maintain our mission in advancing sustainable fashion.
As we cope with the new normal, we believe that it is not only important to protect ourselves and the people around, but we must also become more conscious in protecting the planet through conscious consumption choices.
